InfiniteBox is an amalgamation of multiple cancelled projects, most notably TuxCity — a simulation of dynamic AI where agents would form relationships and build towns.
Development on the current version began in November 2025. After multiple delays it has just entered pre-alpha testing. The foundation is finally solid enough to share.
Each save — called a Verse — contains literally infinite worlds to explore. Hundreds of planet types are planned, alongside procedural and handcrafted units.
Built for modders from the ground up. The Builder system makes updating mods across game versions as painless as possible.
Every mob has its own emotions, needs, wants, and goals — designed to run in simulations with 50,000+ mobs simultaneously.
One update every week, minimum. The game is actively evolving and community feedback is shaping every release.
InfiniteBox is built with modding as a first-class feature. The Builder API handles version compatibility automatically — mod once, update rarely.
